Mateo Seza is a New York based photographer with a tropical background. Born in Colombia and raised in Miami, Mateo has always been a vibrant and colorful individual who stands out from the crowd rather than blending in. His taste in music, movies, and ideas of fun constantly challenge the opinions of his friends. However, what truly sets Mateo apart is his genuine curiosity about human’s interaction in the environment. He believes that everyone is unique and simultaneously alike. Everyone has something to teach. With an interest in findinig people’s voice, Mateo uses the mediums of color and geometry to express this inherent duality.

It was during his college years that he developed a deep passion for dance, and has since incorporated movement into his work. Mateo believes that light is a universal language, and through his photography, he captures and translates this language, remaining committed to his vision of conveying narratives through the powerful combination of color and geometry.
